አንድነት ለዲሞክራሲና ለፍትህ ፓርቲ ብሄራዊ ምክር ቤት አቶ በላይ ፍቃደን የድርጅቱ ፕሬዘዳንት አድርጎ መርጧል።
ከሰባት ወራት በፊት ድርጅቱን እንዲመሩ የተመረጡት ኢንጂነር ግዛቸው ፣ “ወጣቶችን ወደ አመራር አመጣለሁ፣ ወጣቶችን ባካችሁ አቅማችሁን አጎልብቱና ተኩኝ” በማለት ለወጣት አመራሮች ሃላፊነታቸውን ለማስረክብ ፍላጎት እንደነበራቸው መግለጻቸው ይታወቃል። ቃላቸውን በመጠበቅ አዳዲስ አመራሮች ወደ ፊት መምጣታቸው ትግሉን ይረዳል የሚል እምነት ስላደረባቸው ኢንጂነር ግዛቸው፣ በፍቃዳቸው ሃላፊነታቸውን በመልቀቃቸው ነው፣ በድርጅቱ ሕገ ደንብ መሰረት፣ ብሄራዊ ምክር ቤቱ አዲስ አመራር የመርጠው።
አቶ በላይ ፍቃደ የአንድነት ምክትል ሊቀመንበር ሆነው የሰሩ፣ በድርጅቱና አባልትና አገር ዉስጥም ሆነ ከውጭ ባሉ ደጋፊዎች ዘንድ፣ ከመኢአድ፣ ከሰማያዊ ፓርቲ ፣ ከትብብር …እንዲሁም ሌሎች የተቃዋሚ ድርጅት አመራሮች ዘንድ ትልቅ ተቀባይነት እንዳላቸው ይነገርላቸውል።
